Face to face with 'Gluttony'

Meet 'Gluttony' who has just been very kindly donated to the Mysteries. He was created by Cliff Vawda who  was well known locally for his sculptures, many of which have been displayed in Lichfield Cathedral. Cliff's work is made more remarkable as he was blind.  Gluttony was created for an exhibition of artwork inspired by Lichfield Mysteries which was displayed in various venues around the city at the time of the 2012 Mysteries. Cliff sadly passed away last year and we would like to say a big thank you to his wife for letting us have Gluttony -  you will be able to see him from time to time when we are at events and as part of future Mysteries art exhibitions. He's rather jolly so do come and say hello - in the photo he's having a ride in my car!
