Quiz Time

We are having a Mystery Quiz with a Fish and Chip supper to raise funds for the 2015 Mysteries. It's teams of four - so come along with your friends, neighbours, family or anyone else you can persuade. There will be a licensed bar and raffle.

Date:      Friday June 20th
Time:      7pm for 7.30 start
Venue:   Lichfield City FC (Brownsfield Road, off Eastern Ave.)

Lichfield Mysteries has a busy week

at the Crossroads, bible burlesque and the blues
Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Garrick and supported our production. Read a review here. It's been really exciting to create a brand new play and see it develop from initial conversations and ideas to performance. A big well done to the cast who worked really hard, contributed so many ideas -  and had lots of fun! We've made an excellent connection with Fired Up Theatre so are looking forward to more community arts collaborations in the future.

DMS Whittington Families Day

The new Defence Medical Services facility at Whittington was officially opened last week by the Duchess of Cornwall. As part of the celebrations a large number of local community groups and businesses had stalls to promote their work to the new service personnel and their families who are moving to Whittington. Aside from the torrential rain, we had a very jolly day and were very well looked after by the staff.

We spent Monday shooting a film sequence to be used in at the Crossroads, Bible, Burlesque and the Blues our forthcoming production at the Lichfield Garrick - all exciting stuff! What were we filming? You might have to buy a ticket to find out!

The wilderness is a hot and steamy place, and for 'The Visitor' the temperature is about to rise...
With a vibrant backdrop of burlesque, the howlin' and the hollerin' of classic Blues music, physical theatre and not a little dark humour, at the Crossroads projects a theatrical and contemporary confrontation between Satan and The Messiah; borrowing a little from the Faustian rules and regulations!
